The Visit

On a June morning in 2020, a small Residential Aged Care facility in Victoria had three assessors arrive at 9:30am for an unannounced Monitoring Assessment with the Commission.

The assessors were there to review the Home’s systems in line with COVID-19 and infection prevention and control. Related systems were also explored at this time including stock supplies, non-clinical areas (laundry, cleaning and food services), and management and Governance systems.

Getting Back to Business

Within 3 hours assessors had completed the visit, and it was back to business for the staff at the home. Having implemented CompliCare, staff were able to quickly and easily be produce up-to-date policies, procedures, training, and systems, making it simple for assessors to ensure everything reviewed met the requirements of the Quality Standards.
